As part of the 75th Independence Day celebration, a folk dance competition and a patriotic song competition were held at YMCA. St. Thomas school students put up a great show and were well appreciated.

Students shouted slogans such as Vande Mataram and Jai Hind Jai Bharat. Students dressed as freedom fighters holding placards displaying the quotes of leaders also participated in the procession.
