Code of Conduct

The school focuses on factors that make it unique, bringing out the best and discourages malpractices. We at St.Thomas expect impeccable behaviour from our students. Disciplinary action will be taken against any student who is persistently and repeatedly or wilfully mischievous or guilty of malpractices in connection with the examinations or has committed an act of serious indiscipline or misbehaviour.

Students are expected to respect each other’s religious, economic and cultural differences. Irregular attendance, habitual lack of interest in school work, words or actions departing from the conventions of good conduct, smoking, insubordination, cheating, stealing, misconduct even outside the premises of the school or any other malpractices are reasons to ask for withdrawal of a student from the school.

Punctuality

Students are expected to come to school punctually. Once the school gate is closed, no child will be accepted inside.

School Gates

Pupils are asked to arrive 5 minutes ahead of the cited time in the morning. Please send your child to school on time to avoid a late mark in or being sent home. Being punctual is very important and helps the day get off to a good start.

At the end of the school day pupils should be collected, or leave the school premises promptly at the stated time unless involved in a supervised activity. Please note that, while we will obviously do all we can to ensure the safety of your child at all time, the school is not legally responsible for children 10 minutes before and after school.
