Maharashtra Day was celebrated with great fervor at St. Thomas Public School. The day began by unfurling of the Tricolor by Rev. Father George Abraham. It was followed by a prayer by our Head boy. The standard X students sang a prayer song. Speeches were given in English and Marathi to highlight the significance of the day. The importance of the working class was also emphasized upon as May 1st is also celebrated as Labour Day.
