Children’s day celebration (St. Thomas Public School) Secondary Section

“Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether they make this world a beautiful garden.”

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. This special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889. Pandit Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love.

The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by a dance performance by the teachers for the children.  All the children were given chocolates  as a token of love
