St. Thomas Public School, Khadki celebrated the 75 th year of Independence with great fervour. The day
began by unfurling of the tricolor by Rev. Father George John. A plethora of programmes were put up
to celebrate the idea of Indianness ranging from patriotic songs, a dance, speeches, quotes, activities
and a skit for Independence Day which was brought alive through the virtual media. Although the
pandemic once again withheld the students from putting forth their performances in front of an
audience, they did so with equal enthusiasm virtually.
